About

Leo Raudys is an American artist based in Seattle, Washington, who paints about modern absurdity, dehumanizing technology, and space and time, through painting and printmaking. Raudys’s work interweaves elements of organic and inorganic forms, and in doing so, creates images of modern isolation in the context of the natural world, often borrowing themes from contemporary visionary fiction. For most of his career, Raudys was a printmaker and transitioned to painting, where he is focusing on themes related to modern technology, the universe, and our place in it. One of his pieces, Aura, Climbing, is in the permanent collection of the Weisman Art Museum in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
